I'm not a huge Trekkie, but I have to say, I quite like this effort to bring Star Trek back to television screens. It's evident that it's cheap, just as you'd expect on television, at least according to the older model, but there are special effects scenes here that are surprisingly very good. As science fiction, it doesn't impress much, but as a tribute, it's not bad.
