Nach ihrem Comeback und den Plänen ihres neuen Managers Dominic Bösewicht gehen die Muppets auf große Europa-Tour. Zur selben Zeit ist Konstantin, der gefährlichste Frosch der Welt, ausgebrochen. Er sieht Kermit zum Verwechseln ähnlich. Kaum hat Konstantin Kermits Rolle übernommen, startet er mit Bösewicht einen groß angelegten Raubzug durch die Metropolen Europas. Während Kermit im Gefängnis im eisigen Sibirien landet, haben die Muppets noch gar nicht bemerkt, dass ihr grüner Freund mit einem skrupellosen Doppelgänger ausgewechselt worden ist. (ORF)

I liked the first Muppet movie better. This one was a bit forced. The only plus of the entire movie was the fact that Ricky Gervais plays a villainous lemur. At times when there’s one cute lemur video next to another all around the internet, it really made me laugh.

It's not as good as the movie from 2011, it's not that much fun, but there are still moments that are great. The credit goes mainly to the amazing actors who may act silly here, but it somehow fits into it. After all, the main characters are puppets. The story is properly crazy and thrilling, we get a good look at the world. But yeah, in the end, satisfaction.
