Englisch It seemed to me that two slightly mentally unstable people got together (although Mukai didn't seem like that at first), fell in love, and were good together. But then the husband's past surfaced, his "burdens" caught up with him in full force and affected the peace of the household. The whole thing was peaceful, like a piano sonata, without unnecessary diatribes. But they both struck me as self-pitying fools, and I didn't like them very much. Moreover, it had an awfully bloated running time, and all the slowness had a soporific effect on me. Yellow Elephant is one of those bland films where nothing will happen if you don't see it because no one did anything amazing. It's all kind of meek, organized. Some might find it unusual that the main character talks to all sorts of animals and plants and they seem to talk back to her. But even that gives a kind of unremarkable impression. So if you want something that won't grate on your nerves... ()
