The film tries to engage from the beginning with a certain confusion it creates. The present alternates with flashbacks and we don't know what happened or what will happen. This is a good element because you at least have some expectations. However, the film doesn't really deliver much. Gradually, it turns into one big blah blah blah and there is nothing worth it. It is too transparent, too uninteresting. Kevin Sorbo doesn't save it either.
