It’s the beginning of the hot and steamy 90s. There’s a new currency being used in Estonia – the “kroon”. The former Soviet republic has reached the top in exporting non-ferrous metals. In this criminal business, however, there is a merciless ongoing battle. Each day yields another victim. Estonia’s murder rate is the highest in all of Europe. This is only the beginning. The film is based on a true story, which was turned into a novel with the same title. (Taska Film)
