Abgeschottet von der Außenwelt werden jugendliche Straftäter im Bootcamp „Coldwater" von Colonel Reichert (James C. Burns) zu „nützlichen Mitgliedern der Gesellschaft" gedrillt. Der Alltag ist grausam und Schwäche oder Widerwille werden drastisch bestraft. Für den charismatischen, kampferprobten Neuankömmling Brad (P.J. Boudousqué) wird die Situation bald unerträglich. Er wagt einen Fluchtversuch. Doch dann wird alles noch schlimmer - Angst, Gewalt und Gegengewalt steigern sich zu einem höllischen Finale, das nur mit einem Knall enden kann ... (MFA/MFA+)

Definitely an interesting topic, which was approached more like a dramatic film, not so much like an action film. This means that the pace of the film is quite slow and reflects into the overall tone. It can be boring. That's just the way it is. On the other hand, it is quite likely that the story has the potential to captivate you. Only the acting performances are not always convincing.
