Gabrielle is 14. She tries to love Gilles, but he does his utmost to ruin his own and other's lives. He steals money from Gabrielle and humiliates here to such an extent that she does not want to see him any more. He hits his teacher at the technical college. When his father gets back home, he is beside himself and kicks him out. Gabrielle refuses to put him up. His friends'families have no time for him. Gilles therefore finds himself homeless, like a stray dog. By creating desorder, the soon becomes the vermine to be eliminated. Gabrielle finally saves him.
