Englisch "Crescendo" certainly doesn't belong among the greatest horrors and thrillers that the Hammer studio has made, but it is still a film that isn't completely dismissible and can capture the viewer's attention, if not outright amaze them. I enjoyed the fact that the creators wanted to make it suspenseful at all costs, but it slips through their fingers a bit, so it becomes a bit comical towards the end. But overall, the storyline isn't that bad. ()
