Paveł, the son of an eminent Solidarity member, marries Eva, whose father - a miner - was killed during the suppression of a strike in a coal mine before the introduction of Martial Law in the 1980s. One day their happy life is disrupted by an article in the local newspaper exposing Paveł 's father as a State Police collaborator. Paveł does everything he can to find the truth and purify his father accused of being an informer. (Summer Film School)
