I was looking forward to the plot because I love the relationship of the nanny vs. single father (or in this case, their guardian). So I went into it without expecting anything. In the end, it sort of disappointed and sort of didn’t. Unnecessarily long for my taste, if it were half as long, more focused on the Jerry/Ella relationship, it would be great, but this way more than half of the show was boring and not worth the paper of the ticket. Of course it was brightened up by some bits that were really good. The main character wasn't some incompetent moron who's experiencing and nitpicking everything (in a certain sense). It's watchable. Plus, there are great pop culture references, not just Taiwanese but Korean and Japanese as well (especially the TV shows). It's not a bad series, but it's terribly mediocre, it doesn't leave any deeper impression (not even the OST does). What was particularly annoying was the development of the relationship between the main characters – what they've been promoting from the beginning in the trailer and the various previews just doesn't happen. A weak 3 stars.
