Der wohlhabende Philippe ist seit einem Sportunfall vom Kopf abwärts gelähmt. Auf der Suche nach einem Pfleger entscheidet er sich für den frisch aus der Haft entlassenen, jungen Driss. Dieser wollte sich bei der Bewerbung zwar nur den erforderlichen Stempel für das Arbeitsamt abholen, nimmt die Stelle aber an. Der Background der beiden könnte nicht gegensätzlicher sein: Einerseits die luxuriöse Pariser Stadtwohnung mit Bediensteten, andererseits das harte Leben arbeitsloser Zuwanderer in der Vorstadt. Driss' lässige, unvoreingenommene Art frischt Philippes Alltag auf und ist der Beginn einer ungewöhnlichen Freundschaft. (ORF)
