Das US-Team spielt beim wichtigsten Breakdance-Turnier der Welt schon jahrelang keine Rolle mehr. Dem schwerreichen Hip-Hop-Mogul und ehemaligen B-Boy Dante Graham ist das ein Dorn im Auge. Er will eine amerikanische Truppe siegen sehen. Jason Blake, sein Kumpel aus der Anfangszeit der Bewegung, soll die besten Tänzer des Landes darauf vorbereiten. Obwohl er wegen familiärer Schicksalsschläge den Halt verloren hat, nimmt Jason die Herausforderung an. Ihm bleiben nur drei Monate Zeit, die Burschen zum unschlagbaren Dream Team aufzubauen. (ORF)

When at the beginning of a dance movie you hear that Americans don't have a good enough team to compete with other nations, it's quite clear that by the end of the movie, they will have that team. Actually, they already have it at the beginning, but it needs to be awakened in those people. So, a basketball coach, who has enough of his own problems, hires them and turns all those rebels into disciplined guys, and they can go to the championship or something like that. Well, why bother with something more complicated, because it's mainly about relationships, relationships that are incredibly stupid, boring, and predictable. Acting-wise, it's nothing special, Josh Holloway is probably here just because he's a bit famous and has a good face. It's a waste of time, and the saddest thing is that even from the perspective of dance, there is very little of it here. The ending won't save it.
