FilmCONFLICT engages in the playful analytical editing of images in order to take a look at conflict between fictional characters. By repeating their facial expressions and body language, the film releases the scene from the storyline, creating a sense of physical unease in the viewer. The repetition of images of closing doors strengthens the scene’s sense of fatefulness, whose dramatic nature had, in the original film, been determined by narration.
