"How can nothing be something?" Zero ist ein düsteres soziales Spiel, in dem Zahlen die Stellung des Einzelnen in der Gesellschaft darstellen, was sich auf alles (nicht nur) in der heutigen Zeit übertragen lässt - sei es Geschlecht, Rasse oder sexuelle Orientierung. Abgesehen von dem etwas bizarren Ende bietet Zero eine starke Geschichte aus dem Leben und beeindruckt auch durch seine Optik.

The story is too clichéd to win me over again, but it's true that thanks to its format and interesting animation, it almost succeeded. A classic tale of an oppressed individual who eventually achieves a certain form of justice or satisfaction. The emotions are there, but overall, it feels somewhat superficial to me. Why couldn't sometimes the most exceptional person just win...
