Kathleen lebt getrennt von ihrem Mann, dem Lieutenant Kirby Yorke. Ihr gemeinsamer Sohn tritt in Yorkes Garnison ein, um gegen die Indianer zu kämfen und Kathleen versucht vergeblich, ihren Sohn davon abzuhalten, ohne sich mit ihrem Mann zu versöhnen. Erst eine Strafversetzung nach London macht dies möglich. Der erste Film in dem John Wayne und Maureen O'Hara ein Paar geben, bietet auch reizvolle Landschaften aus dem Staat Utah. (ORF)

A movie that stands out for its stunts and acrobatics showcased here. An excellent display of cowboy (equestrian) artistry, as well as circus artistry. Of course, that's not what the movie is about, but it's the main point that caught my attention. Besides that, I also enjoyed seeing Duke in scenes where we don't see him as much lately. A good Western that didn't impress me too significantly.
