Julie und Jason sind seit College-Zeiten besten Freunde. Niemals hatten sie etwas miteinander und konnten sich daher über ihre Affären austauschen. In ihrem Freundeskreis sind alle fix liiiert und haben bereits Kinder. Julie und Jason wurden somit Zeugen, wie die Liebe durch all den Erziehungsstress in die Brüche zu gehen droht. Aber auch die beiden Mittdreißiger wünschen sich Nachwuchs. Nur wollen sie alles anders machen: Gemeinsam ein Kind, aber keine Beziehung haben! Ein außergewöhnliches Experiment beginnt. (ORF)

A surprisingly well-cast anti-kids and anti-marriage film that I didn't find amusing or exciting, but it sure was annoying. American comedies of this type usually spend three-quarters of the time trying to convince me that family life is an absolute nightmare, only to provide irrefutable proof in the final quarter that it is actually a pleasure cruise. Well, I’m not buying that. The only thing it convinced me of was that the writer either didn't try very hard or just wasn’t very good at it. Plus, the filmmakers absolutely failed to exploit the potential of the cast, so it was pretty lame from my perspective.
