Dave geht mit den Chipmunks Alvin, Simon, Theodore und den Chipettes Eleanor, Jeanette und Brittany auf luxuriöse Kreuzfahrt. Mit ihren ständigen Streichen sorgen die pfiffigen Streifenhörnchen für gehörigen Ärger und bekommen von Dave Kabinenarrest verhängt. Für Alvins muntere Truppe jedoch kein Hindernis, an einem Drachen hängend über Bord zu gehen. Als Schiffbrüchige landen sie auf einer scheinbar einsamen Insel. Während Dave eine fieberhafte Suche startet, bekommen es die sechs dort mit der Schatzsucherin Zoe zu tun, die finstere Pläne verfolgt. (ORF)
