Set just after the close of the Civil War, a former Confederate officer (Ray Milland) joins a vaudeville target-shooting show to avoid detection by the Union army. Der zweite Farbfilm von Hedy Lamarr nach Samson und Delila und ihr erster Western. Hedy passte in das Genre ähnlich wie Marlene Dietrich - unerwartet gut :) Wer hätte das gedacht, aber selbst dieser besondere Charme ging in einer so rauen Umgebung nicht verloren.
