Bei ihrem Eintreffen in dem verschlafenen Ort Haven in Main, bemerkt die FBI-Agentin Audrey Parker (Emily Rose) schnell, dass hier wenig so ist, wie es scheint. Plötzlich kommt es tatsächlich zu einer Anhäufung von scheinbar übernatürlichen Phänomenen. Auch die Bewohner bergen Geheimnisse, um die niemand wissen soll. Doch Parker scheint mehr mit den Zwischenfällen zu tun zu haben, als ihr bewusst ist. Sie selbst hat keinerlei Erinnerung an ihre Vergangenheit und wuchs ohne Familie in einem Waisenhaus auf. Nach und nach kommt nun ihre mysteriöse Vergangenheit ans Licht. Könnte der Schlüssel zu ihren Erinnerungen in Haven selbst liegen… (Syfy)

As other productions work with movie pop-culture, here the authors attempt to work with American literary pop-culture with a special focus on Stephen King (which in fact is clear from the name of the series itself). They try, but not with complete success. And also it’s absurd how it takes itself absolutely seriously, which is made worse by the fact that the authors seem to be convinced that the wannabe wisecracks are funny and the chemistry of the central duo works. Even the pilot, which is one of the better episodes, is the finest of everything that is rotten here (which is, for your information, absolutely everything). If this were a web series by a bunch of enthusiasts, it would still be unbearable, but at least the “little amateurs" would have a good excuse.
