Eigentlich hat Wallace den Glauben an die große Liebe verloren. Nachdem er von seiner Exfreundin betrogen worden ist, hat er sein Medizinstudium an den Nagel gehängt und lebt zurückgezogen im Haus seiner Schwester. Auf einer Party lernt er die bezaubernde Trickfilmzeichnerin Chantry kennen. Das Blatt scheint sich zu wenden, das romantische Feuer beginnt zu lodern. Da erfährt er, dass Chantry, die Cousine seines Kumpels Allan, bereits fix vergeben ist. Wallace lässt sich daher auf einen Freundschaftspakt ein. (ORF)

The whole time, it is quite a pleasant movie where both actors in the main roles catch your attention, but it is simply ruined by those classic romantic-dramatic moments that you simply have to encounter in similar movies. Because of that, it is not a sufficiently innovative romantic comedy, although on the other hand, it is still above average in the genre. Just not by much. I am quite curious about how Daniel handles "Horns" because it could make him a truly interesting actor of his generation. Zoe Kazan is already interesting.

Pleasant, cute, funny, non-conflicting. My favourite was the scene when they’re watching Carpi’s The Thing.
