Rookies: Socugjó

It's a nice conclusion to the series. If you haven't seen the series you certainly won't enjoy it as much as those who have, but you can still watch it (though it may be hard enough to understand their enthusiasm, their persistence). If you want to know if the boys made it to Koshien Stadium and if what Kawato promised at the beginning of the series comes true, definitely watch. Plus, Yusuke Yamamoto joins the familiar faces, and it wasn't until this movie that I finally saw him as a "guy" and realized he's not such a lost cause, plus he's the one who's going to be a baseball star soon... ^^ It's not much different from the series, just not as much fighting (almost none at all, actually) and the focus is entirely on baseball, which is fine, it's a movie about the guys who play it :-)) (16.01.2011)
