Chobun

Sodol, recently released from jail after serving 5 years for suspicion of murder, moves back to his island home following the death of his mother. Soon after his return, seaweed that's being farmed starts to go rotten and a long-dead corpse is discovered. The villagers believe Sodol is the cause of these dark omens and begin to shun him. But the murderer is actually an all-powerful shaman who's looking to make a fortune from developers who have been trying to turn the island into a resort. (Busan International Film Festival)
