Mitchells Mutter Dede steht überraschend vor der Tür. Mitchell ist schockiert, als er herausfindet, dass Dede und Cameron schon länger eine Freundschaft pflegen. Zudem kommt er dahinter, dass Dede mit subtilen Methoden Einfluss auf sein Leben nimmt. Manny hat einen Film fertig gestellt, der nun Premiere feiert. Joe stellt fest, dass das Monster darin genau so klingt wie Gloria. Unterdessen sind die Dunphys vollauf damit beschäftigt, Claires gute Laune schamlos auszunutzen. (ORF)

In the end, the episode turned out much better than I expected based on the opening scene. The Dunphy family once again provided the biggest portion of entertainment, the drawing for the order in the line for Claire's relaxed hour was flawless, and the final harmony among the mothers was perfect. // "You can't! Only me."
