Ausgerechnet am Tag des lange herbeigesehnten Lady Gaga Konzertes wird Cameron krank. Mitchell ist hin- und hergerissen. Einerseits fühlt er sich verpflichtet Cameron zu pflegen, schließlich kümmert sich dieser im Krankheitsfall immer liebevoll um ihn. Andererseits will er das Konzert, auf das er sich schon so lange freut, nicht verpassen. Claire hat es unterdessen satt, bei der Erziehung immer die Rolle der Spielverderberin zu übernehmen. Nun soll Phil einmal der Buhmann sein. (ORF)

While the obligatory boring part of the episode was addressed with a rhyme and Lady Gaga concert, Jay was shattering dreams and bringing the dreamer back to reality, while Claire and Phil switched their traditional roles in the family. And that was the favorite passage of the whole episode for me, Claire, who was trying to be funny, was excellent, but this time she was outdone by Phil the slave driver. // "Guys, guess who's going go-karting with you? Me!" "Why? Did we do something wrong?" // "I just want to go to bed next to a man who is generous and kind, and you don't have to be that man at all costs." // "Dad, we haven't had lunch yet." "Just like half of the children in Africa, stop whining and get to work."
