Rjúsei no kizuna

It's not exactly miraculous, but I was quite taken with it and enjoyed the cast immensely. Basically, up to the fifth episode, it's more of a sneaking, cheating kind of thing, and it's more of a comedy series, but then it gets serious, the siblings are on the trail of a killer, and then you have the lovely Kaname Jun, who I so seldom see play the good guy that it seemed like a rare opportunity. I couldn't tear myself away from the series from the halfway point on, which I consider a big plus. Yes, it's a very naive story, but thankfully in this case that doesn't mean it's bad. And I enjoyed the opening and the theme songs, I still think of them now and then. A weaker 4 stars. (14.01.2014)
