Die Innenarchitektin Jackie Laurens, Mutter zweier Kinder, leidet noch immer unter ihrer Scheidung. Ihre beste Freundin Kristine schenkt ihr anlässlich ihres 40. Geburtstages einen Kurztrip nach Hawaii. Dort macht Jackie die Bekanntschaft des attraktiven Surflehrers Kyle Hamilton, mit dem sie eine heiße Affäre beginnt, aus der sich aber auch mehr entwickeln könnte. Kyle ist allerdings erst 27 Jahre alt, was bald zu einigen Komplikationen führt. (ORF)

I loved the scene where the group of 40-year-old women complained about their men who are leaving them because they gained two extra pounds. But that still paled in comparison with the following scene – one of the 40-year-old women gets herself a pretty nice date and a sharp-dressed man at a restaurant starts telling her how he keeps himself in shape, doesn’t eat much and takes care of his biorhythm. I’d shoot my brains out, are we really that bad?
