Als Dokumentarfilm ist interessant und für Fans der Freitag der 13. Serie definitiv ein Muss, bringt jedoch trotz seiner neunzigminütigen Länge nicht viele neue Infos und ist eher eine Art Rückblick, der sich gelegentlich zum Selbstvermarkten neigt und unkritisch auf die Schultern klopft (natürlich von Sean S. Cunningham, dem ausführenden Produzenten des Dokumentarberichtes). Außerdem bringt die Sequenz, in der die Schöpfer über Jason Voorhees philosophieren und ihn fast zu einer Figur der antiken Tragödie machen, einen zwangsläufig zum Lachen. Der Rest des Dokumentarfilms ist jedoch absichtlich humorvoll gehalten, sei es der Begleitkommentar von Tom Savini oder einige sehr lustige Anspielungen (wie der Stern von Kevin Bacon auf dem Walk of Fame), und insgesamt sollte man diesen Dokumentarfilm genauso betrachten wie alle Teile von Freitag der 13., das Gehirn ausknipsen und Spaß haben.

An excellent documentary for fans who have fallen in love with the "Friday the 13th" series. Many legends appear here - the whole documentary is accompanied by great sequences with Tom Savini, who talks about the filming process, what Jason means to them, etc. It's an interesting insight into the life of the series, as well as the lives of individual protagonists and how they have changed.
