Nach den blutigen ersten beiden Teilen des verzweifelten Überlebenskampfes einer Gruppe junger Leute gegen kannibalische Waldbewohner, macht nun “Wrong Turn 3” die Horror-Trilogie perfekt. Diesmal ist es die junge Fonda, die mit ihren Freunden zu einem ausgelassenen Campingurlaub in die Wälder Virginias aufbricht. Kaum dort angekommen, entwickelt sich der Aufenthalt zum blanken Albtraum. Einer nach dem anderen wird vom blutrünstigen Mutanten Three-Fingers abgeschlachtet und gefressen. Während Fonda nur knapp dem Tod entfliehen kann, wird auch ein durchfahrender Gefängnis-Transport in den einsamen Wäldern von Three-Fingers attackiert. Gerade noch rechtzeitig kann sich der Justizvollzugsbeamte Nate Wilson mit einer Gruppe Sträflinge ins Dickicht flüchten. Doch wie weit kann die Gruppe schon kommen, wenn ihr eine blutdürstige, menschenfressende Bestie auf den Fersen ist? (Verleiher-Text)

I’m afraid I’ve just witnessed the brutal murder of the Wrong Turn franchise. I quite liked the first two, the first one is decent and easygoing hixploitation (3*) and the second is entertaining splatter spiced up with slasher (4*), but the third part is a boring fiasco with incredibly bad performances and direction, and after only half an hour I was praying for a premature ending, so poor me wouldn’t have to suffer long. Fox, burn in hell for putting the fate of this franchise in the hands of Declan O’Brien, who, to put it mildly, is a very insufficiently talented person.

End of the series. The third film, under the direction of O'Brien, turned from a fresh splatter horror into a routine massacre. Instead of a group of teenagers, it now features a wealthy group of escaped prisoners. Unfortunately for them, they encounter their old acquaintance "Three Fingers," the only (!) connoisseur of human flesh. However, this group of tough guys is in for a surprise: the perpetually smiling cannibal sets trap after trap for them in the forest (often with a digital twist), while their weapons fail to hit him. The scene where the prisoners cut off their dead colleague's legs as if he were a piece of gothic salami is downright comical.

Worn-out, uninteresting, at times downright ridiculous and not bloody enough. When someone makes and writes a film, they should at least try to do something new and distinctive, but the creators of Wrong Turn don't give a damn. It’s a waste of time, although there are a couple of alright moments and the slimy antiheroes are fine.

As if the movie "Pach krve 3" forgot that it is primarily a crazy slasher film that is supposed to entertain and perhaps disgust the viewers here and there. This movie wants to pretend to be something more, even though it doesn't have what it takes, and yet it tries to offer us something more. Unnecessarily. It even occasionally distances itself from gore and shows us a shot of something else instead. It doesn't fit this movie at all. A stretched out mess that pretends to be something it's not.
