The unique film cycle "Tell Me Something About Yourself" was started in the spring of 1989 by director H. Třeštíková. Utilizing her exceptional method in which she follows the subjects over a period of time, Třeštíková focuses on the youth correctional facility in Libkovice. The material was shot over a period of two to five years and captures not only the changes in the lives of the protagonists, but also transformations of the whole society. Lada is a typical product of the institutions known as „educational“ or „corrective“. Not only is not educated or corrected, he simply does not understand anything about life. He sloves his probléme in his own way – by swallowing sharp objevte. He does experience love, however – according to all tried and tested rules of the Red Libary. Wenn sie hinter Gittern sitzen und ständig auf die Freiheit hoffen und jammern, wenn sie endlich rauskommen, erfüllen sie nicht, was sie behauptet haben. Sie genießen die obdachlose Bohème, wollen keinen Job, landen wieder im Gefängnis und beginnen das gleiche Lied von vorn. Ein Dokumentarfilm, der sich dank Láďa und Dana im Kreis dreht und nirgendwo hinführt. Das Ende ist klar - er bleibt lange eingesperrt, sie verschwindet, und es erwartet sie keine Familienidylle.
