Final Destination 4

Ein ekeliges Euter, viele selbstzweckmäßige Massakerszenen und ein moralisierendes Geschwafel. Dieser Film ist kein Neustart, es ist ein Herausreißen aus der Steckdose und ein Wurf aus dem Fenster auf Beton. (01.10.2009)

Der vierte Teil ist leider nur eine durchschnittliche und sterile Vorstellung ohne neue Ideen und markante Überraschungen. Und wenn sein Stempel "3D" für jemanden ein Grund für einen hochwertigeren Film oder eine höhere Bewertung stehen soll, kümmere ich mich nicht darum und beharre auf meiner Meinung. Fliegende Schraubenzieher und Reifen sind gut, aber es darf nicht nur davon abhängen. Trotzdem hätte das Ergebnis auch schlimmer ausfallen können, Langeweile stellt sich dank einer anständigen Anzahl von Toten und einer kurzen Laufzeit einfach nicht ein, und das zählt auch. Eine Warnung für Sie ist, dass Sie Ihren Verstand ausschalten und sich auf seine Regeln einlassen sollten. Wenn Sie das nicht tun, bleibt Ihnen nur ein unangenehmer Geschmack im Mund und in der Brieftasche ein wenig mehr Platz. Die einzigen, die wirklich zufrieden sind, sind die Schöpfer. Dank des Geldes, das wir an den Kinokassen gelassen haben, reiben die sich jetzt die Hände und denken bereits an eine Fortsetzung. Die Frage ist jedoch, ob wir so etwas noch einmal sehen wollen. 5/10 (12.02.2010)

Terribly stupid when it comes to the dialogues, surprisingly badly directed and with dodgy digital effects, it almost reminded me of the awful Wrong Turn 3 several times. I wasn’t expecting an original or interesting plot, but such poor execution was a very unpleasant surprise. The ending was a bit tense, but it was not enough to improve the overall impression. And when in the last scene the protagonist says the following with a mysterious tone (spoiler): "What if it was planned from the beginning?", I couldn’t avoid laughing. It’s evident that even after the third sequel (or remake?), the creators still don’t have the rules of the game clearly set, the characters just pull “solutions” out of their asses and the whole thing looks increasingly ridiculous. Please, put an end to it already. (28.11.2009)

Ellis proves he’s two levels above of Wong. It’s eighty minutes of uncompromisingly laughing fun, in which, paradoxically, the opening is worthless compared to the previous films. Yet it is then amply compensated for by the rest of the film, in which there is plenty of room for blood, stupid effects, déjà vu, and, above all, uncompromising fun. Never mind the characters and the plot - as long as it does it in an original way every time and is never boring, even when it's stealing from the past. In terms of its category, the fourth film is filled to the brim. (01.12.2009)

After watching the movie, you will likely think about one thing: was it really that stupid or was it all just an excellent exaggeration? I'm afraid it's option A, so it's one of the dumbest sequels of the year. (10.01.2010)
