Vermögensberater Derek Charles ist befördert worden. Gemeinsam mit seiner Frau Sharon und seinem kleinen Sohn zieht er daher in ein größeres Haus. Sein Glück scheint perfekt. Als Aushilfssekräterin Lisa Sheridan in seiner Firma zu arbeiten beginnt, ändert sich dies jedoch schlagartig. Sie sieht nämlich in dem smarten Finanzexperten den Mann ihrer Träume und schreckt vor nichts zurück, um ihn zu erobern. Derek und seine Familie scheinen der Stalkerin hilflos ausgeliefert zu sein. A great example of how far an innocent flirtation can go. I still get hair standing up on the back of my neck end when I think of Lisa's look. The movie is a bit over the top, but the plot kept me interested. It was different... it’s just that the ending was a little too much. Otherwise... Beyoncé once again showed what a babe she is. A beautiful 4 stars.

I would really like to know what those people who rated Obsessed so poorly on IMDB (3.7/10) wanted from it that they were left so disappointed, because I got exactly what could be expected: an average, but by no means awful thriller that it’s full of clichés, but still watchable, mainly thanks to the two female leads. It’s true that those girls could have gone a bit harder by the end, but that aside, Obsessed is a nice and fairly well made movie that it’s fun to watch once and that fulfils its purpose as such – no more, no less.
