Idioti na plavbě kolem světa

It’s nice that these “Idiots" make their dreams come true, overcoming all obstacles to get to them. It’s admirable that they managed to build the entire sailboat Victoria “on the kitchen table". But that doesn’t say anything about the quality of this documentary. Here everybody just blowing trumpets like in a “the making of" some Hollywood blockbuster. It was a joy and an honor to work with such and such, I’m telling you... I haven’t seen so much wasted potential for a long time. As a bonus to a DVD about the building of the boat with a five-minute voyage in Magellan’s wake, it might just pass. But on its own, no chance. (07.02.2008)
