Alice' Leben ist perfekt. Zu allem Überfluss hat ihr ihr geliebter Scott auch noch einen Heiratsantrag gemacht. Doch alles ändert sich schlagartig, als sie bei einem Unfall einen Nagel in den Kopf geschossen bekommt. Wäre das nicht schon nervig genug, lehnt das Krankenhaus eine Entfernung des Fremdkörpers ab, da Alice nicht krankenversichert ist. Fortan muss sie mit impulsiven Gefühlsschwankungen leben, während sie für die Rechte Nicht-Versicherter kämpft und sich neu verliebt. (ATV)

As long as it was just about a woman getting hit in the head with a nail, it was quite funny. It's a shame that it only lasts about twenty minutes, and the movie has another hour and a quarter. Once politics comes into play, it starts to become horribly boring, and at times you feel like smashing the TV straight away. Yes, politics is crap, but this movie turns out to be one too.
