Über der Hochzeit von Leonard und Penny liegt ein Schatten. Während Pennys Mutter befürchtet, dass bei dem Zusammentreffen mit Leonards Akademiker-Familie ans Licht kommt, womit ihr Sohn tatsächlich sein Geld verdient, treibt Sheldon die Sorge um, seine Mutter Mary und Leonards Vater Alfred könnten sich besser verstehen, als ihm eigentlich lieb ist. Indes erhält Howard Besuch von höchster Stelle. Ein Regierungsbeamter will ihn sprechen, verweigert jedoch vorab Auskünfte über den Grund für das Treffen. (ORF)

The episode kept the vibe from the ninth-season finale, but gotta admit, I enjoyed it slightly less. The cast was still solid, no complaints there, but the creators seemed to be pushing it a bit too much. Some jokes had this cringey tone that didn't quite land. Shoutout to Keith Carradine though – he was great. / Lesson learned: Master the art of navigating awkward silences. That's how you become a star.
