Durch ein Missgeschick heimatlos geworden, nisten sich die drei Streifenhörnchen Alvin, Simon und Theodore im Haus des erfolglosen Musikproduzenten Dave (Jason Lee) ein. It is a prototype of an American family spectacle for the widest popular layers, and therefore, in terms of the script written and acted out to correspond to the taste of the typical mass audience. If it only stayed with plush chipmunks, it would be somewhat kitschy, but still bearable entertainment within the framework of a children's movie, but busty actresses and elegant hunks clearly intended for adult accompaniment appear there, which is expected to have the taste and intellectual outlook of a five-year-old child. This kind of mass production simply passes me by. Overall impression: 15%.

Die neuen Filme liegen auf der gleichen Wellenlänge wie Yogi Bär und Die Schlümpfe. Die neue Generation von Kindern schert sich also einen Dreck um die alten Wurzeln und konsumiert gierig und zufrieden nur das, was heute in Mode ist. Nicht mehr und auch nicht weniger.

Even though I had problems with Jason Lee at the beginning, which is why I wanted to see this movie - and I still had that problem even during the second viewing - it always gets me in the end and I quite enjoy this singing trio. Plus, Cameron Richardson also played a role in it, and I've just liked her as an actress ever since I saw her in "House".
