Jane ist Möchtegern-Schauspielerin und kifft was das Dope so hergibt. Ihr Mitbewohner ist ein absoluter Science-Fiction-Nerd und nicht unbedingt der Typ, mit dem Jane gerne rumhängt. An einem friedlichen Morgen gibt sie sich vor einem Casting-Termin mal wieder die volle Dröhnung und stillt den aufkommenden Heißhunger unglücklicherweise nichtsahnend mit den Hasch-Muffins ihres Mitbewohners. Es folgt eine wilde Odyssee quer durch Los Angeles, während der sich Jane zahlreichen eingebildeten und aber auch wirklichen Gefahren stellen muss … und wie zur Hölle kommt sie auf das Riesenrad? I'm not one of those Anna Faris haters — I've got nothing against her. But in this film, she was a bit too much for me. The camera seemed to linger too long on her face, maintaining that Magnum 5 Kristen Stewart expression throughout (granted, she pulled it off quite well). Clearly, I wasn't in the right mood to appreciate the movie, and on top of that, I lack any personal experience in this realm. When it comes to experimentation, my interests have taken quite a different route :-) So, unfortunately, I didn't enjoy the film, but I'll give it a star for the effort to explore an unfamiliar theme. / Lesson learned: Steer clear of topics that don't resonate with you.
