Because of his repellent appearance, the man is unable to communicate to his family his feelings of shame and guilt and his need for love. His story is told through the animation of beach sand on a piece of glass. Based on Franz Kafka’s short story, the film has won the Grand Prix at the XV International Festival of Short Films in Cracow, Poland. (Anifilm)
