Englisch Quite impressive. Quaid does a decent job and the cinematography is gorgeous. I was delighted to see Peter Stormare, who is there, albeit fleetingly. Horsemen could have had a better script with a more surprising twist at the end, but it doesn't offend. Very good three stars, almost four. ()

Englisch How to say it? Platinum Dunes didn’t try too hard and delivered a very insipid thriller, again. You can feel its potential, while I watched it I could at least remember those good dark thrillers from the saturated 90s, but this one is utterly unable to generate any tension. The script has pretty much every classic and clichéd motif, and if I were to count how many times I had a feeling of déjà vu during that hour and a half, I would get a pretty high number. The actors play their part and can hold their heads up high, I’ve no major complaints about them. Films of this genre should have a final twist that ideally would take the viewers’ breath away, and Horsemen has one, and it’s not too bad. Unfortunately, I saw it coming about half way in and from that point forward, I was going to have to gripe and let the film lead me by the nose. Instead of that, I had fun watching how everything rushes towards that outcome and if it had ended in any other way, I would have probably been disappointed :-D. PS: Peter Stormare is criminally underused! ()
