Sechs hippe Studenten wollen es in der Natur krachen lassen. Unter ihnen ist ein heimlicher Goldgräber, dessen Pläne Unheil über die ganze Gruppe bringen. Denn mit seiner Schaufel befreit er den Geist einer Frau, die einst lebendig begraben wurde. Und diese lebende Tote ist sehr, sehr wütend. (TELE 5)

The American movie Buried Alive is nothing more but a clichéd demonic killing spree, which has been done to death. Buried Alive is a joyless movie that I think people only watch for the gratuitous amount of nudity. It is nice to gaze at, but there is nothing else to keep the viewer interested once that wears off. In this case, it is just a one-trick pony.

Awful borefest, everything that is at least a little interesting happens in the last 10 minutes. The terribly dumb behaviour of the characters is only surpassed by the very predictable plot. If it wasn’t for Tobin Bell, it’d be Boo!
