Robins Freund Nick lässt sich von Marshall überreden, bei seinem Basketball-Team mitzuspielen. Dabei zieht er sich eine Verletzung zu. Deshalb möchte Nick ein paar Tage lang auf Sex verzichten. Erstmals fällt Robin auf, dass ihr Partner intellektuell weit unter ihrem Niveau ist. Sie will sich von ihm trennen. Doch dann ist die Verletzung ausgeheilt und Nick ist wieder bereit für Sex. (ORF)

Positives: the dog was gone, Marshall did not search for his inner goddess. It's a bit sad that these are the highlights. The sixth episode fell into the same pit of uninteresting plotlines as many before it. Yet another breakup was tackled, and while the whole lack-of-sex thing could've been funny, it's getting repetitive, so it didn't really earn any points either. / Lesson learned: Feeling horny? Try pushups.
