Barney hat sich mit Quinn verlobt. Diese bittet Lily und Robin, ihre Brautjungfern zu sein. Robin ist darüber sehr verwundert, da sie doch mit Barney eine gemeinsame Vergangenheit hat. Erst später erfährt sie, dass Barney Quinn nie etwas davon erzählt hat, dass sie ein Paar waren. Robin ist darüber sehr bestürzt. Auch Ted hat so seine liebe Not: Victoria will Klaus vor dem Altar stehen lassen und ihm nicht einmal einen Abschiedsbrief hinterlassen. (ORF)

So, the introduction to the eighth season wasn't the disaster I thought it might be. If the creators had polished it a bit more, I might have given it a higher rating. The first episode had some good laughs here and there (Marshall and Lily aquarium scene), and the creators balanced it out with the more serious stuff without making it sound cheesy. / Lesson learned: Keeping a secret is no walk in the park.
