Als Marshall und Ted mit Teds geliebtem Ford Fiero unterwegs sind, der beinahe 200.000 Kilometer auf dem Tacho hat, streikt der Wagen plötzlich. In der Werkstatt gesellen sich Lily, Robin und Barney zu den beiden, um sentimentale Geschichten auszutauschen, die sie mit dem Fahrzeug verbinden. Einzig Barney ist nicht traurig darüber, dass der Ford schon bald auf dem Schrottplatz landen könnte. (ORF)

The episode was a nostalgic journey bidding adieu to a historical artifact with a bunch of memories. What pleasantly surprised me was that the creators went heavy on the humor, and the whole farewell ended up lifting my spirits. I'm sure there are far worse songs that could have been stuck in that player on repeat. / Lesson learned: Don't toss your old friends in the trash.
