Englisch Mickey Rourke is a terrible jerk, but he still has charisma. Gordon-Levitt is quite good alongside him and their scenes together are well done. Unfortunately, Joseph Gordon-Levitt quickly becomes annoying, just like the story that wants to be rough but actually isn't at all. The scene in front of the real estate office is like a movie where the director was not present on set. In the end, you realize that you have been waiting the whole time for something that could have happened in the first ten minutes. So the film is pretty much about nothing... ()

Englisch Today, I had to find out why I had only given this film three stars in the past, especially with such a solid cast. Now I know. The film kicked off decently, and the fact that a Scottish/Irish actor was playing a Native American didn't bother me at all. What did bother me was the script, which after a promising start, began to feel somewhat lackluster. There were moments when I found myself slightly bored, and on top of that, Joseph Gordon-Levitt's constant yelling got annoying. I wouldn't have minded the lack of an original plot if it had delivered some good old-fashioned action with a noir atmosphere (as the film's opening promised). However, everything I liked seemed to fizzle out gradually. / Lesson learned: Watch out for the blackbird: he may like to sing, but he's a damn thief. Gardeners will surely agree with me. ()

Englisch A one-off, but very entertaining. The very simple script is handled in an interesting way, the cold realities are excellent, and the main characters are believable. Although it somewhat borrows from various elements of films from the past decade, it still works well, and Mickey Rourke is cool even though he looks like an Indian. ()
