Mainly in the introduction, a melancholic and slightly hypnotic exploration into all the wounded and hopeless souls. It's a shame that over time, preference is given to dark humor more than ideal, and the characters, except for the perfect Holden, are still too archetypal and lead to the expected conclusion. 70% ()
Kind girl is not an exceptional film in any way, however, in the category of "independent" American production it represents a decent above-average and unlike genre films of major studios, it is able to convey a glimpse of the real America of ordinary people who make a living with ordinary, uninteresting jobs. I believed Jennifer Aniston in the role of tired and disillusioned saleswoman - it is interesting that it is the first role of one of the highest-paid female TV stars, where I took notice of her performance. Besides J. Gyllenhaal, it is also worth mentioning the experienced John C. Reilly in the role of a somewhat down-to-earth husband. Overall impression 65%. ()
