We can pretend that these are just individuals who commit evil, that this is just a movie, but these things still happen in real life, and you hear about them every day from the news because nothing else interests reporters. News has to be sold, and violence sells well. This film tries to at least partially understand what happened and presents without disguise what monsters we are, even though in some cases we may not realize it. Filmmaking-wise, it's not perfect, but the message of the film is strong for me.
