Five years of undeserved prison sentence is an awfully long time that the German authors managed to transfer onto a movie screen with success. The lead actor was also able to showcase the desperation, which is probably the only thing I can call it. Throughout the movie, I even felt as if it couldn’t have been filmed better, but after I finished watching it, I realized how emotionless it was. The story is crazy, but if it only evokes a feeling of astonishment, it means there’s something wrong with the movie. I eventually took one star off the original four-star rating – it’s still a story that none of us would be willing to go through.
