Operation Corned Beef

Vielleicht lag es an meiner momentanen Stimmung, vielleicht auch nicht, dieser Film hat mir aber fast gar nicht gefallen. Ohne Jean Reno, dank dem man über ein paar Szenen schmunzeln kann, wäre der Film wahrscheinlich ein totaler Reinfall geworden. Ja, ich weiß, dass all die peinlichen, übertriebenen, lauten und wilden Dinge witzig sein sollten… Das waren sie aber nicht. (08.09.2012)

One of the few French films that I've come to love. Unlike the depressing Gabin films and goofy de Funès films, this one’s hilarious and entertaining. Jean Reno is at his best here and it's a joy to watch him move like a fish in water in a plot that is racing forward at a breakneck speed. (27.06.2016)

Two amazing actors in a likeable spy comedy that, with its imaginative humour, can easily beat the vast majority of similar American extravaganzas. It radiates so much liveliness and vigour throughout that you can easily forgive the bland ending, which, on the contrary, missed the effect with its frenzy... 80% (07.07.2011)
