Balásfy Ágnes is afraid of love, since the legend that the Balásfy girls' kiss is deadly has proved to be true three times in her lifetime already. After the last case, the death of her fiancé, the car racer, she needs neurological treatment. She falls in love with her doctor, Kelemen László, but does not dare resign herself to her sentiments, since she has fears for her love. Finally accepting the man's steady courtship, she marries him but insists on living in separate suites after their wedding. László revives the medieval legend of a Balásfy Eszter and disclosing the realistic reasons of the "deathly kiss" cures his wife of her fears. (Verleiher-Text)
