Die Ärztin Diana Dibbs soll Doc Martin in Portwenn ersetzen. Während der Übergangszeit beobachtet Martin seine Vertretung und ist entsetzt: Nicht nur, dass die Dame selbst sehr anfällig für allerlei Wehwehchen ist, sie stellt auch noch eine Fehldiagnose nach der anderen aus. Doc Martin muss nun sehr gut überlegen, ob er sich wirklich von Diana vertreten lassen will. (Sat.1 Gold)

The fifth season didn't start the worst, but on the other hand, I haven't seen anything amazing either. I will rather take the first episode as a classic start of the series, and silently hope for improvement. I can't help it, but most of the situations irritated me more than entertained me. I don't know if the town will be enough for the fifth season, I'm already having claustrophobic fits from it.
