Als Helen Pratt nach einem Herzinfarkt stirbt, zieht sich Doc Martin den Zorn ihres Ehemannes zu. Mr. Pratt ist davon überzeugt, dass Doc Martin Helen getötet hat. Darunter hat auch Tante Joan zu leiden, die neben den Pratts wohnt. Doch dann wird Mr. Pratt selbst schwer krank und muss sich in die Hände des Arztes begeben. Sprechstundenhilfe Pauline wittert unterdessen eine neue Herausforderung. (Sat.1 Gold)

Similarly to the previous episode, I missed a larger amount of humor, but this time there was a stronger story. I also have to appreciate that there was more space for Katherine Parkinson, who is excellent in the series just like in IT Crowd. Nevertheless, I had a good time and the new teacher contributed to that as well.
